CUSTOMIZING ALEXA SKILL

Conversation.one provides you with an end-to-end solution for your Alexa skill and Google Home actions. We automatically connect to your APIs, and we provide you with the relevant dictionary for the conversation (with more than 1,000 different samples). However, if you wish to customize an Alexa skill or a Google Home action, you can easily do that using our visual customization dashboard.

CUSTOMIZING AN ALEXA SKILL AND A GOOGLE HOME ACTION

1. Using the Interaction Module Editor

To start customizing your new Alexa skill, click the editor icon on the left-side navigation menu. The Interaction Module editor will be opened. Here you can add new intents (actions), add or modify the sample texts, and even change the response of the ready-made dictionary.

2. Disabling Intents

If you don’t need any of the intents, you can just disable them. In the screenshot below, you can see we have disabled the ATM Locator feature.

3. Adding Sample Sentences

To improve the accuracy of the system, and enrich the conversation, you can add new sample sentences that will invoke each intent.
In the example below, we add the sample: “How much money I got” – as another option to ask for one’s balance.

4. Change Responses to Intents

You can also change a response of an intent. This can be either a hard-coded text response or a response from the business logic module (as seen in the screenshot above).
